The Barn lives up to her name

The garden started us on this quest to build a larger home with a farming vernacular.

The barn has three bedrooms and a loft. Also, the sofas are twin mattresses, so the kids and last minute guests can tag along.

I imagined families here, I imagined groups of friends and amateur chefs. I imaged those looking for authenticity and adventure.

There is more to Jamaica than the beach. Come stay on a once cattle farmed piece of land, in a west end barn that tries to stay true to it's history. Even know we grow more callallo and garden eggs and more bok chow than cows, the farmhouse, or the barn, we call it, still has all the charm of pies cooling on the window. It's informal, comfortable and has everything you need exactly where you need it.

Check out some of the kitchen details.
